Steven Khalil’s 2017 Resort Collection that
he showcased at Carriage works during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2016 was one
of the most glamorous shows of the season. Every look that came down the
runway had a sparkling element, whether it was his intricate use of beading or
his use of metallic. The lights shown onto the looks as they made they’re way
down the catwalk, highlighting every small details of the lace, beading,
sequence and textures, causing the anticipation within the audience.
His collection featured breathtaking
dresses, using textures such as lace, embroidery, beading and glitter. Colours
in his collection included white, grey, black, lavender and metallic. He ended
the evening with a show-stopping bridal gown, which is what he is known for.
This was the moment everyone was waiting for and it did not disappoint when it
made its appearance. The atmosphere was remarkable, roaring with eagerness-
definitely an experience I will not forget.

special, and all those designs that made their debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion
Week where just of that, staying true to the brand.
